This is quite easily the most valuable content on WSO if you ask me. I think having a library of "will XYZ drug test me" questions will be beneficial for generations to come.

Only two sources I trust, Glenn Beck and singing woodland creatures.

30 days is fine with me, but it isn't 30 days. Offers are signed around now and start dates aren't until July-August. So it ends up being 4-5 months

Given the copious amount of drugs Jay Sugarman must have taken to justify his performance as CEO, I highly doubt they drug test.

I'd worked in engineering for ~ 20 years prior to making, what turned out to be, a temporary career change into financial advising. I was stunned when I was not asked to be drug tested. Perhaps the industry doesn't see the necessity for it any longer. I simply do not know.

I do know that I recently went back to my original profession and drug testing is, as it has been for decades, a compulsory part of the job. There are some higher-level projects for the government where I was even required to not just get drug tested, but I was required to take the incredibly thorough hair-follicle analysis, which can detect illicit drugs ingested for the previous 6 months.

I try not to be judgmental, but I cannot understand how anyone who has spent so much time, effort, sweat equity and money on getting a top quality education would even consider throwing it away so that they can smoke weed, do coke, or do anything else that would jeopardize their future. It's beyond my comprehension.
