PWM

Outside private wealth mgt, not sure what a financial advisor internship would get you.

If you want to do something more analytical, some of the big PWM groups at firms like NB have teams with their own 'research analysts.' These roles really vary depending on team though and you have to be careful you know what you're getting into.

Best of luck.

Tech sales would be the most lucrative I would imagine, but any sales paths make the most sense since it's essentially a pure sales role

Just had my trade dispute rejected by Schwab for a loss of 35k. This single issue alone should be a gigantic red flag to anyone who trades on their platform. If they have a system error, and you do not video record your trading (they actually said this), they will not honour their fuck up. Switching everything away from them. Fuck this company.

I have a friend that did GS PWM internship and ended up at Oracle doing Tech sales. He's 25 making $145k working 50ish hours a week.

Would like to say that he's considered a very high performer (equivalent of top bucket at Oracle).

The less prestigious the PWM internship, the less prestigious the non-finance opportunities though.
