JP Morgan Chase Focused Analytics Solutions Team
Okay, so I've had a number (5) of interviews with this team, and I guess they have gone better than I thought, so I was offered a final round. Technically speaking, my major (at a target school) does include data and analytics in addition to the traditional finance courses, so I have had to learn R, make statistical models, do analysis, etc. However, outside of this, I have not really pursued any data or analytics roles elsewhere, as I am more interested in Finance (and have been having moderately good success in that regard). But it seems to be a very interesting team that does cool work, I just don't know much outside of what interviewers have told me.
Basic question is, how good is this team? What would the comp, exit ops, etc be like? I have obviously asked questions about the team in interviews, and they say they generally their analysts get multiple offers elsewhere within JPM or Chase after the 2 years, but besides that, there is very little information online, and I obviously cannot ask the above questions. What what I have been told, I will be doing the typical financial modeling, etc, but also lots of SQL, R, Machine Learning as they are operated almost like an internal consultancy team for other divisions.
Can anyone shed some light on me for this? I want to know how to properly weigh it against my other options, as it seems like a cool opportunity. The position would be at HQ in NYC as far as I know.
