JP Morgan Investment Banking Junior Analyst

Hey,

Has anyone heard back or received an online interview from JP Morgan Investment Banking Junior Analyst role? It says that my application is submitted and I did an online test in December but haven't heard back anything since then? Have they already given out interviews?

Hope I can at least get the first round interview. Do you know anything the application process? Like how qualified are the candidates compared to general investment banking candidates and how long does the entire process take

Typical process is online interview -> 1 or 2 phone interviews -> Superday

It's a pretty slow process. Last year the Superday wasn't until March.

It's actually still really competitive, and the quality of candidates is high. At the end of the day, it's still JPM and an opportunity to be placed in some really solid groups (M&A, HC, etc.).

From what I understand; the process consists of "HireVue" interviews (for selective locations), then approximately 1-2 "phone interviews" (both behavioral and technical), which ultimately concludes with an in-office "super day". Therefore, you can consider each step as a different interview "round".

There is some variability with the aforementioned process between respective location preferences (i.e. New York City, Boston).

The pertinent candidates qualifications were still relatively heightened with regards to school reputation, personability, and experience. The respective differences between "typical" investment banking candidates have usually resided in selected majors (i.e. history, political science), GPA (i.e. 3.20+), and work experience. There is still an expectation of some rudimentary fundamental and technical abilities, which will be tested during the PI and SD.
