JPM Lev Fin and Fin Sponsors

Guys,

currently trying to rank my group preferences for JPM London. was hoping you could provide some insight regarding the lev fin and fin sponsors groups. basically, any insight on the group quality, reputation, and level of anaylsis (coverage vs. working with lots of models) would be very much appreciated.

also, if anyone knows about the JPM structured finance/principal investments group i'd love to hear about it as well.

finally, I know that JPM has really strong industrials and nat res groups, but what about their TMT group?

thanks guys

Consider the fact you are the corporate banking coverage 's bitch... Not sure if working in a commercial bank such as JPM/BAML/Citi is that good....

pretty sure investment banks with strong balance sheets are the ones that get the most lev fin action...

what makes a bank top in lev fin is not necessarily balance sheet. GS,Citi, RBS, HSBC all have massive balance sheets, yet they're not top. size of a balance sheet alone doesnt tell you anything. what matters are syndicate relationships, i.e. distribution network with CLOs, HFs, institutional investors... and bank's appetite for risk. Remember that a leverage loan on bank's balance sheet has a higher risk weighting and thus require more capital.
