I got into one of these programs this year and applied to both. Clicked on the thread to see any insight/comparison--curious what you're mostly trying to do by comparing them?
i could be wrong, but i think they're trying to see which companies hired at least 4 or more graduates from booth and kellogg's 2019 class.
hope that helps.
Thanks, super helpful
Yeah I just came across the numbers - this is a common decision for people looking at MBA programs in chicago
Aren't the class sizes vastly different? seems like a meaningless exercise
It's ~500 (Kellogg) vs. ~600 (Booth). Not a big deal.
class sizes are marginally different; and regardless if they were meaningfully different these are still the companies that hire 4 or more students from either school. i.e. if you wanted to work for Deloitte you likely have a better chance of being 1 of 15 plucked from Kellogg than Booth. I dont really see what youre getting at. even if booth was 5x the size of kellogg, it is still apparent that you have a more realistic chance of being recruited by one of the firms in orange
Actually, if you wanted to work for Deloitte you probably have about an equal chance from both Kellogg or Booth. Just because MBAs from Booth didn't go to Deloitte doesn't mean they all got rejected. These numbers are not how many offers were extended to students, but how many went to certain firms. I haven't checked, but I'm sure if you look in prior years you'll probably see Deloitte in the list of companies that hired more than 4 people from Booth.
