KKR, Blackstone, TPG...

Possible to get interviews at these shops not coming from GS/MS or other top groups (CS/UBS LA etc)?

Any shot in hell for top rated analysts from regular groups at the non GS/MS bulge brackets? What can we do to improve our chances?

It is more difficult but by no means impossible. If you know anyone that works for these firms your best shot is probably to have them vouch for you and then circulate your resume internally, rather than through a headhunter. If you do use a headhunter, make sure they are convinced that you are the most superlatively talented person in the entire crop of applicants, and hopefully they will make an effort to sell you appropriately.

I have nothing to add except the firms you have listed measure up to the Gold Standard.

Lloyd, the only reason you will call me now is if Carmen Electra calls for an emergency tittyfucking session
