London Financier Freed
Back in May, a women jogging in London was pushed in front of a bus, for which Eric Bellquist was arrested.
Eric Bellquist, a partner at Hutton Collins & Co., was dismissed by Metropolitan Police as the jogger who pushed a woman into the path of a London bus.
The man arrested on Thursday on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm was released with no further action, and is no longer part of the investigation, the police said in a statement Saturday. They added that their inquiries continue and appealed to the public for assistance.
The 41-year-old private-equity specialist had been arrested in connection with the May 5 incident on Putney Bridge over the Thames River. Bellquist was out of the country when the assault occurred, his lawyer said on Friday.
Luckily he has now been freed. I just hope that someone involved said he was out of London returning video tapes when the incident occurred.
there was actually a real life patrick bateman in zurich, who killed a hooker and stored her in his suitcase
I have met with Eric a couple of times and he is a super nice guy. Was really shocked when I saw the news about his arrest as it really did seem out of character. Apparently he has had to hire personal security etc. as a result of this.
Hope they catch the original perpetrator in order to clear his name in the public eye totally.
wtf
