Loop Capital: reputation, post job offers?
Has anyone worked for or interned at Loop Capital before?
If you have is the position paid and how was the work they had you doing? Was it worth it and do you have a legitimate chance of landing a FT offer an internship there?
If you havent worked there before do you know anything about the bank and their reputation?

I saw the website and looked at the application (started the app, going to submit soon. Was going to try and network with someone there but haven't found any alums or people I had connections/something in common with).
But I don't get the affirmative action joke. I'm a white male, am I screwed haha?
Really??? That's all you all can talk about is the race of the owners. I'm qualified because I'm black? So am I underqualified for a job at any firm with mostly white senior management, which is most of them?
And out of curiosity does anyone have any experience with this company or are you judging off of a quick browse of their website
Loop is a top public finance investment bank, other than that they do very little corporate investment banking. Any experience is better than no experience. They aren't known in the corporate banking world but for public finance ppl know who they are.
Public finance is fine with me, I think I might actually like that better (but WTF do I know haha). Hopefully they are keen to sophomores, but we'll see.

Going by a friend's experience they're a good firm. You do a presentation at the end of the summer which apparently is a great experience and of course having IB on your resume is a big plus. Is it a SA or FT offer?

I saw that somebody had posted about this before but they didn't get much feedback. Has anyone participated in or at least know anything about the Loop Capital summer internship program?
On the page for the internship it says that they take "high school and college students at all academic levels". As a freshman with strong grades and a pretty solid understanding of financial markets (but little in the way of experience outside of a couple things at school) at a semi-target, do I have a chance at this? Would it be a worthwhile experience?
Any information anyone has to offer would be much appreciated.

I would go on LinkedIn and look at profiles of people who have interned there before and see where they are now.
