LSEAIC & UCL finance conference
Has anyone heard back from Dartmouth partners on whether or not they've been accepted to either conference ?

I've only applied to LSE AIC and haven't heard back yet. I went to the LSE IB conf and they only let me know I got invited around 1-2 weeks before the conference. So I expect same thing will happen for AIC.
Haven't heard back yet either for the LSE AIC, hopefully we hear the decisions soon.
Have not heard back for UCL conference
I applied thinking it would be a long-shot that I would get a spot, but I heard back today. I got in. Is there any more information about this conference? I'm trying to see how many people actually got internships before I fork over $90 and a a ton of money for a plane ticket.
Applied to UCLFC and will be attending.
Seems like a good opportunity to learn about finance through some senior bankers/investors
This thread has some more information about the 2012 conference

Received invitation yesterday for the UCL conference, will be attending and looking forward to it... Maybe we can arrange a meet up of sorts for WSO members?
Sounds good :)
Discuss nearer to the date how?
Hi there, I also got the invite on Friday for the UCL event. Wonder if its worth it to attend. I read on their site, that in 2012 only 6 guys got internships. Thats less than 3% of the 250 folks who attended. What do you guys think? Still worth it? Great for networking? Do let me know. Need to book my seat. Cheers...
Plenty of networking opportunities for internships regardless of the internship scheme I reckon.
I'll be attending the UCL conference as well.
From what they say it should be great for networking and the reviews for the talks have been great.
Here's a perspective from a student that appears to flown to London from Sweden for it: http://ssecareerblog.wordpress.com/2012/02/27/ucl-finance-conference-20…
sounds good...but my issue is that I will have to fly 9-10 hours (one way) to make it there. I was wondering if the networking opportunities would be worth the price of flight tickets, around GBP 600. I have no issue about the conference itself. Its definitely a steal at that price. Cheers...
I'm going to UCLFC. A WSO meet up would be cool.
I PMed each of you :)
Attending as well, would be keen to meet up - New account but long time reader.
