I interviewed for a FO position at Macquarie and heard from a friend that they no longer offer H1B visa sponsorship, although I did mention on my application that "I will need sponsorship in the future". Does anyone have info on this?

Any info on UBS is also appreciated.
I would appreciate any clarity on this too because I know people who have gotten rejected because they dont sponsor but also know people who were international students and got hired by UBS
Do you know where they are in terms of recruitment? Are they still actively searching for people or are they in the final stages?
