Manbassadors at Haas School of Business

Hey Monkeys, I just read this article about gender inequality in the Haas School of Business.
The first two paragraphs essentially describe what this program is about...

UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business recently profiled the Manbassadors, a student organization that provides men with tools to “better support their female friends, girlfriends, wives, and daughters when they’re no longer blind to how women often have to deal with unfair situations.” Dean Richard Lyons will present a “Question the Status Quo” award to Manbassadors Founder Patrick Ford ’17.
Ford explains that a “Manbassador” is a “male ally who works to end gender discrimination by supporting and being an advocate for women.” He explains the impetus of the organization: “There’s a growing awareness of how significantly unconscious bias affects our behavior.”

From just reading these two paragraphs, I know that this program, in my opinion, is just virtue signaling. However, from these paragraphs, a key point of importance is unconscious bias and how it "affects our behavior." This might be an elementary question, but if we have an unconscious bias, how do we know we have that bias? And no, that Harvard IAT quiz results does not tell you if you have implicit bias. See the quote below from this quiz
However, these Universities, as well as the individual researchers who have contributed to this site, make no claim for the validity of these suggested interpretations.

In addition, the concept of implicit bias has never been used in a court case with success.
Perhaps I have not been around the block, but it seems strange to me that men have unconscious bias against women. Rather, I believe that men have unconscious bias in favor of women.
Also, in capitalistic society people and organizations, for the most part, reward hard work which will lead to the best people getting hired regardless of their gender, race, or sexuality.
Finally, many "Manbassador" programs are developing at many business schools.
Ford concludes, “Almost all the top U.S. business schools have a Manbassador program (though not all of them call it that) in some stage of development. Many graduates will be going into high-level roles at Fortune 500s and a wide range of enterprises around the world. They can have a huge impact where they work.”
Clear Admit would like to note that the Manbassador program is just one of many coordinated efforts on the Haas campus to help women’s voices be heard and increase female enrollment at Haas.

As a person who will be taking courses at Haas and will apply for their business school this fall, I worry that this student lead program will become a mandatory school run program that will lead to politically correct bs led to combat the "patriarchy." I believe that if students want to create this Manbassador program then that is their prerogative, but we have to know that, in America, no man or system is holding any women back. If there are fewer women enrolling in business school or business related majors, isn't that their choice? End of my op-ed.
What do you think about this Manbassador program? Do you agree with my assessment of the matter? Please explain why I am right or wrong?

these guys in the pictures are the founders of the program??!! here

LOL are they just doing this to try to get laid? they both look like virgins, also this won't help them get laid. i don't think anything could turn on a chick less than talking about being a male feminist or social justice

berkeley is a good school but, i would say you should just try to avoid these PC SJW bullshit as much as possible... yes it is just virtue signaling... women actually go to college more than men, and it has been trending towards higher female enrollment for a while afaik

i don't think you should worry and i don't think it will become mandatory in any capacity...

Haha no I will have to watch that. I don't think it will be that bad man, as long as you don't actively seek that stuff out I think you will just be able to ignore it and avoid confrontations about it...

You mean 1984 isn't a guide book of how we should run our society? Coulda fooled me...
