Manchester United IPO

Supposedly the giant English soccer/football club is planning a $1 billion IPO in Singapore. Speaking from a purely fan perspective, I would love to own shares of the club and call myself a part owner of the "Red Devils". But on a business perspective, I don't think it would be a good investment considering how deep in debt the club is. Would any of you purchase shares?

 

Completely agree with you. It would be cool to accumulate a tidy little stake over time but I would have to be in a place financially where I didn't care about returns
