MBA Apply for Fall 2020 (Coronavirus round 3) or apply for fall 2022
With everything going on with COVID-19, it seems that lots of schools are going to have higher acceptance rates for round 3/4. A lot of schools are waiving GRE/GMAT scores and all. A couple questions:
-
What are your thoughts on going back to school two years earlier than planned with not enough savings (less than 15k),
-
Some schools are offering to waive the exams which may get me into top schools than otherwise...
-
What's the likelihood that schools will offer significant scholarships this round? (I'm an African American male, 3.5 GPA)
most mba programs only give our scholarships to early round candidates. most scholarships also require gmats so it's unlikely they'll provide money without a score
Scholarship availability will depend at least somewhat on how many scholarship recipients decide not to attend a given school.
How many years have you been working? Any leadership roles on or off the job? Do you have some impressive accomplishments?
Linda
