Medical Device Industry transfer

I am 29 with 5 years of medical device industry sales experience. I am a sales rep for Zimmer Biomet. My undergraduate degree is from the University of Florida.

I want to transfer into investment banking with a particular concentration on healthcare as I have a great handle on the space. I would like to work for a bank ideally starting as an associate.

Do I need to get an MBA? Or would that be a waste of time? Relocating to New York is preferred and would not be a problem for me.

All help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

It would probably need to be a top 10 MBA program to get hired on with one of the BB New York banks, correct?

Any other advice or tips for someone in my position?
