MFin for a Psych Grad in Canada?

Hey guys,

I'm a third-year psychology (BSc) student at McMaster. I'm interested in going into finance but as you can tell non-finance background from a non-target school. No one is going to look at my resume. I'm more interested in buy-side but I've heard breaking into sell-side (IB) is easier. I know the CFA is a better choice for buy-side.

I have a couple options and was wondering if you guys had advice:
1) switch to commerce now which would add 2-3 years to my undergrad
2) finish my degree, and then work towards a CFA while applying to places and networking like crazy
3) go for MFin at a target school and a CFA, and then start applying

I'm leaning towards the third option because it fixes the non-finance and non-target (assuming I get into a good school). My GPA is pretty good (3.94) but that only goes so far.

Any advice is appreciated.
