I'm not sure exactly what you are asking. If you mean an FP&A style role at a SMB, you might expect to make between $70 and $125k but typically those roles are filled by ex. accountants. The transition to M&A would be extremely difficult.
No, by corp fin, I mean M&A etc, not FP&A.
Do you mean at a Middle Market Investment Banke (e.g. William Blair, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey) or doing Corp dev at a middle market firm? MMs tend to pay analysts and associates in line with street. For Corp dev, no idea, except that most middle market firms (50MM-2BN) in revenue either will not have in house Corp dev or a very small team.
