Morning person in IB

I used to work in West Coast so waking up around 4:30am in the morning was my daily routine for a while. Used to hate that but later turned out to love that early morning schedule.

Problem is now I am having a normal IB life and often I need to crunch until 2am, which makes "morning productivity" not a regular thing anymore.

Any other morning person in IB? How do you maintain your morning productivity? Either in the short run or long run.

I am a morning person too (not as much as you though). I try to get as much work done early in the morning as I can, however if nobody shows up at the office by 10/11am, it's going to be very difficult to keep your schedule as you will not be able to sleep enough.

My suggestion is to maybe adjust your schedule a bit, try getting up a bit later (maybe 6/7am) so that you are able to sleep more at night.

I've always found staying up late quite painful, even when I was still an undergraduate student. Sometimes I stayed until 1 or 2 am as a freshman or sophomore, but then find myself lacking sleep the following day because I always wake up early. This might be family gene since my mother and grandmother wake up early too.
