Most interesting people on Wall Street

Who would you say is the most interesting person on wall street, in terms of crazy career trajectory, unusual hobbies, etc. I'd so Soros is up there for me personally.

I enjoy listening to Henry Kravis. He's very calm and controlled, but also crystal clear.

Ray Dalio can sound a bit preachy, and he likes to push his principles, but he seems very passionate.

I would assume the most interesting people "on Wall Street " are people we have never heard of, people who have zero appetite whatsoever to be in the public's view.

Yeah, the most interesting people I've met on Wall St have been the friends I've made along the way. Of course the really famous guys, the CEOs can sometimes have great stories, and I love to read about them and draw inspiration from them. But by far, a lot of the friends I've made along the way have great stories and are really interesting people. You wouldn't know, they're usually just analysts or college kids grinding, but their story is awesome.

I feel like having access to someone not famous certainly has better stories/more inspiring stories than those making the headlines.

So for me one of them would be an old MD, that used to prop trade EM debt since 1985 and now is investing in EM FI. He told crazy stories and was interesting to understand his approach to big moves in EM markets at the time vs now with a backward view.
