Movint to buy side from MM

Here’s my deal. I’m going to start working at a MM bank in London in July.
Assuming that after 2 years I have completed 2-3 M&A transactions, passed all 3 levels of the CFA (however not received because of work experience), and worked 6 months in Frankfurt. I’m fluent in 3 European languages.
What can I do to position myself better for a transition to the buy side (PE/HF no preference)?
Would starting my own LLC and own 2-3 rent-to-let flats increase my chances to move to a Real Estate PE firm?
