MSF Chances with GRE and Good GPA
Hey guys,
I am a prospective applicant for the MSF programs of 2016. I am working in a Telecommunication firm in Bangladesh as a Customer Service Management trainee.
Regarding the admission chances into a good MSF program, I couldn't not find some specific information even after extensive research. I was wondering if you could help me by answering few questions.
Addition Info:
* Target Universities are the likes of Villanova, Vanderbilt, Boston College, Rochester, etc.
*Work experience about 1 year not relevant to finance. Internship not relevant to finance.
*Valedictorian of my class with CGPA of 3.79
*Extensive extracurricular activities and leadership experience during undergrad
*Currently Preparing for the GRE
My questions:
1) Are these universities indifferent about GMAT and GRE scores? I am more comfortable with the GRE than the GMAT. And I really want to make it through any of the above mentioned programs.
2) Do you know anyone who made it to Villanova with GRE score and no relevant work experience? I think Villanova is the best fit for me and I want to get selected at any cost.
3) What else can I take besides GRE to augment my application? Would taking CFA Level 1 make my application stronger?
4) I did not have courses like Calculus and Econometrics during my undergrad. Would you suggest I take this courses online to strengthen my application?
Thank you for taking your time to read this. Looking forward to hearing from.
Best regards,
Anik Sinha
