Need help with a MAU/ARPU decomposition question - stats related curve fitting.

https://stats.stackexchange.com/questions/462947/…

Sorry my question is vague - I don't really know how to describe the question because I don't know a lot of stats.

I have this data in the Stack Overflow link

I am trying to essentially figure out the curve of how incremental cohorts' Quarterly ARPU(Average revenue per user) performs.

Say from 1Q17 to 2Q17, there is a 1.8 increase in MAUs (Monthy active users). ARPU changes from .47 to .54.

Revenue is a function of ARPU * MAU.

ARPU is a function of ARPU of previous cohorts + incremental MAU + first quarter cohort ARPU (if that makes sense.

I'm trying to fit for the curve of the ARPU progression over time, if that makes sense.

Say the first quarter, they come in at .3, second quarter it progresses to .4, next to .5. Something like that.

I know the barest bit of stata and am fairly functional in excel. How do I approach this? And what would I do? Any help is appreciated, and I'd love to know how to make this question clearer if it isnt.
