Needing help deciding on FT offers

Hi guys,I'm deciding between commodities S&T at a BB and a risk/quantitative analysis at a top AM (BlackRock/Fidelity/PIMCO). I interned at the top AM for the summer and know they have good internal mobility, so perhaps I could move to quant research role later. Background: target / ivy league, 3.5 GPA, president of finance club on campus. I used to want to work in investment research, but now am open to considering other career paths. Please comment with any advice/thoughts! Thank you!

S&T desk at the BB. Seems like a more interesting experience. If you already had a good experience at the AM then go with them if the fit is good. It will probably be easier to work harder and stand out in a place where you are a good fit.

How were you able to get S&T FT offer without interning there for the summer?

Hey, so I'll be super honest here as a way to give back to WSO.

I got interviews at the BB S&T desk because my boyfriend is friends with an associate there. I like to to think I check most boxes (double major in Econ and STEM field, finance EC, brand name internship, and can code -- which is appealing to S&T desks). The networking helps balance out the borderline GPA. So, network, network, network and shamelessly rely on any personal relationship you have.
