Networking for Calgary Trading Oppurtunities
Hey guys, I have read quite a few forum posts from the past regarding trading opportunities in Calgary. Having recently moved down here from Edmonton, I really wanted to get some networking down to better my chances of landing a trading job at either a bank trading desk (like JPM) or at a producer such as BP or Shell. I would really appreciate if I could get in touch with anyone currently in the business.

My shop ain't hiring really. But I can answer some questions you may have. That said I suggest you go read a lot of monty's old posts. Everything he posts for Houston applies here.
I have over 10 yrs of western US power trading experience along with some natty experience and I am looking to start a desk at a bank/fund in Calgary. I am also interested in changing commodities in order to get on with a gas or oil shop. Anyone have any leads on someone looking for a solid individual? Please PM me.
