Career Resources
Why?
turtles brings up a good point.
That said I've been looking to pick up squash for a while now. Apparently it's one of the best workouts you can have from a sport (as far as working out major muscles and whatnot).
Warning: Squash rage can be a sever and an embarrassing side-effect.
Yeah, almost as bad a golf temper – I've been known to yell obscenities while practicing that echo through the courts ... more embarrassing than on a golf course where it's usually only friends and family that hear.
I'm new to the game as well – it is a ridiculous workout, especially when you first start playing and don't know the court.
As for why you should join a group focused on something that you are interested in – unless you are being sarcastic about turtles, otherwise I would think it is obvious – some benefits may be: meeting players in your line of work that you can arrange matches with, researching clubs and places to play if you are relocating; if you are learning: finding the best instructors in your area, among others.
The reason I started the group was I thought it a more fruitful alternative to posting questions in the monkeying around section; this way, the group could get to know each other and former questions would be easily accessible for people new to the group.
The group can be a great resource for guys/girls either looking to play or looking to learn the game once they start working. A match is usually ~45-60min and is intense: in other words, it is a great way to get a fast workout when you are working long hours.

Awesome game. Best workout I ever get. Intense.
Love squash. The game though not that faggity vegan excuse for food.
