The American Gardens Building on West 81st Street
Not sure about this one
None of the super tall pencil buildings
157 looks pretty fire on billionaire's row tho
OK, I will give you that one. Actually kind of agree. Wasn't that like one of the OGs of the really tall buildings there? I don't like 432 or Steinway tho.
740 Park
isnt this where like epstein sold his place or something?
No, it's the most exclusive co-op in the city imo.
yeah def - Steve Schwarzman is there
Really depends what you are looking for. The new buildings (most of the super talls) close to the park will have a bunch of amenities and of course, views of the park.
What you’ll find with many “wealthy” New Yorkers is that privacy is what many end up going for. While some of these buildings offer some of that (full floor apts, etc) at the end of the day you still have a bunch of neighbors. So a lot of the “nicest” places I’ve seen in nyc are either townhomes or smaller buildings. But they don’t have the same appeal of these crazy amenities you see at other places (which many people love, especially if not the primary residence). Also, while ues is still a “rich family” area, you see a lot of wealth down by soho, tribeca, etc (so no views of the park).
111 Murray street in tribeca
Looked it up and was admiring the pictures.
Then I hit the availability tab and saw the price...
The Dakota: 1 W. 72nd St.
834 Fifth Ave.
The San Remo: 145-146 Central Park West
The Apthorp: 390 West End Ave.
The Ansonia: 2109 Broadway
Only know the dakota, but tbh it's kinda gloomy af... have toured an apartment there and it's so old in the interior—tbh not a huge fan, but yes it is famous af
When I think luxury I think contemporary as well not old money designs.
OP, how did you gain access to those apartments?
