Mad? No. Surprised? No. Unhappy for the future of my taxes? Yes.

this did not create the shit-storm that i was expecting.

Ron Paul wins.
Yeah, we know, and every REAL politician is plotting for 2016. Let the GOP run its freak show this November, they need a good ass kicking to get their heads straight. To the mooooon Newt, zoom bang!
^^^^
Love that image hahah. Stimulate the economy by cutting taxes. Government just wastes the money and misdirects it.
He did cut taxes. In the stimulus plan.
Yes but it won't work. Why? Simply because they went deeper into debt to afford that temporary tax cut. This means that you'll have to pay back the principal (raise taxes to their previous level) AND pay interest on the principal (now you have to raise back taxes even more!).
If taxes are not raised, they'll simply print money; inflation = hidden tax.
And it's interesting to see the wording Obama uses:
'' we need to raise revenue '' -- feels like someone else will pay
but you won't hear him say '' we need to raise taxes'' -- feels like I'm going to pay.
Both are the same but Obama uses the revenue line.
It reminds of this Econ Genius

Just knowing politics I can see several absurd predictions. Virginia is almost certainly going GOP in 2012 and Missouri being a 69% change for the GOP is pretty ridiculous--it's a bitterly fought battleground every year.
And unless the model takes into account "real" unemployment, housing equity and gas prices then it's a model that's basically without merit.
I think Obama wins (God help us), but this model is of no more value than the fallacious global warming computer models that ignore cloud formation and solar activity.
If that happens, I might as well forget trying to make something of myself by working hard because in another four years who knows the damage he could do the the American system of capitalism.
oh jesus.
stop your bitching.
The electoral college is not voting for someone in the GOP. Unless they get their act together like UFO stated earlier..

Unemployment above 8% and not falling will cause Obama to stumble greatlyin the fall.
Punching Boehner will guarantee him a landslide victory.
Or better still, punching Cantor.
There I fixed it for you.
