Off cycle internship conversion rate (London)

Hello,

Can anyone tell me what the conversion rates are like for off-cycle internships in London? I've seen huge ranges from virtually zero, to others saying 90%, so I guess this is very dependent on the Bank. Any experiences/anecdotes would be much appreciated.

Cheers,

B

From what I have seen it can vary a lot depending on the timing of your internship. If your internship finishes in summer and you get to know whether you got the offer in the same time than SAs, conversion rate will tend to be high. On the other hand, imagine that your team converted 100% of its SAs and now has to decide whether to give you an offer one month later... might be more difficult to convert.

Anyways, same as always: it doesn't matter. Work hard, have a good attitude, make sure to fit in well in the team and you'll nail it!
