Waitlist / "On-Hold" (Originally Posted: 08/13/2015)
Has anyone ever actually gotten an offer after being placed on "hold" or "waitlisted"
I know a couple analysts who've received an offer after being waitlisted. It happens 1/50 times, but it still happens.
was on hold for BB SA for about 2 months and got an offer
Same thing happened to a buddy of mine - but he had a VP assuring him throughout the wait that he would get the offer. The VP mentioned the yield at this mid-tier BB was roughly 75%. Definitely happens
Hi, care to share what efforts you made to get the offer after being waitlisted? I am now in such an situation and have been sending follow-up email twice but with no positive response. Any suggestions would be highly welcomed. Thanks a lot.
I was on wait list for BB IBD. Never heard anything again.
