“Pace” of Research at L/S fund
Hi all,
For those who work at a L/S fund or other type of long-term, deep fundamental research type place, curious to hear how rushed does your day-to-day work feel?
As an IB analyst, a lot of the work that would normally be interesting to me (reading transcripts of competitors, trying to understand positioning of peers) feels very rushed given there is always another deliverable on the plate.
Is this just something to get used to and information becomes easier to digest quickly with experience, or is it unique to banking?
Interested as well
if you find this so interesting, why not go into ER and then exit into a LS?
