PE Recruiting from Top MM Bank

Non-target who broke into a top group in the middle market (Jefferies, Blair, Houlihan). Had 3 boutique banking internships prior to entering the middle market bank with a 3.9 GPA in the non-target business undergrad. Do I stand a chance to breaking into UMM PE or is that out of the cards?

It's going to be highly group dependent. Groups like JEF HC/LevFin/Energy can regularly place into MF. Other groups there will give you little to nothing. Houlihan RX is already self-explanatory there. Not too sure on Blair pretty sure they just have M&A and have heard conflicting things on whether they support recruiting or not.

Jefferies Energy is best on the street, place very well into MF. Jefferies HC and Lev Fin rarely* send kids to MFs but it has happened (these two groups definitely do not regularly* place into MFs).
