Physician looking into working in the industry
I am a primary care physician with special interest in health care equity and research. I currently have no experience in working in this field other than advising my friends and family as far investing in the biotech sector is concerned. I also have a Masters in Public Health degree and have worked in research. I am interested in something at a beginner level and I don't mind volunteering my services for free to gain more exposure and experience in the field. I have always been very passionate about it and feel its the right time to venture in this field.
Healthcare analysts are the highest paid analysts in the industry and probably the most in demand at this moment. Learn as much about finance/investing as possible by reading books and case studies, then leverage your knowledge as a physician to find a job.
