Point72 Interview Process - Thoughts?
Hi All!
I have a first round at Point72 coming up in a couple weeks. Does anyone have any insight on the point72 interview process? This would be for an Analyst role.
Thank you!!

Have heard of people doing 8+ rounds there. Enjoy
Very long. Friend who got a job there interviewed for 6-8 months.
Bump
Going in later this week for a 1st rd. Have read the thread on modeling/wonderlic tests and noted the long process above. Anything else I should prepare for? Will there be any brainteasers, pitch a security, etc. that I can expect in the 1st meeting? This is for an experienced analyst role. Can't say I love the idea of still getting brainteasers this many years into my career. Have never been good at those, especially when put on the spot.
It'll be dependent on the individual you're interviewing with, but brainteasers aren't uncommon. You will almost definitely have to pitch a stock or two, preferably one long, one short. If it's your first meeting, you'll probably have a good bit of fit questions too.
In a similar situation, experienced hire, expect to start process shortly. Have been told to expect HR-type first round (fit, why I'm leaving, why I want to join etc), then an online test (I think maths + psychometric). Then multiple rounds with hiring PM, at least one round with another PM as a second opinion, then hiring committee make a decision. 3-4mth process but I've heard of people taking longer. Was also told to expect brainteasers, to which I had the same response as you... I'm pretty good at them but anyone can still get stumped on a question, seems kinda bizarre.

Has anyone else heard back for the Summer 2018 Point72 summer analyst position?
