I realize it depends on the office and practice, however I was wondering on average how long one can expect to wait to hear back from PwC after a superday.
Think the same/next day typically applies to banking...I would give these guys 1-2 weeks. Email your HR contact at the end of next week if you don't hear back.
Pretty sure most people hear back within a day or two. Just because you didnt hear back doesn't necessarily mean you did not get an offer. You might be on the wait-list to compare to other candidates on later dates, or in case any one turns down there offer.
Like I said I heard back within 5 days. And yes I got the offer (sorry I did not include that earlier). And I think it depends on what bank you are speaking of. I had an internship with a BB bank last summer and they took around a week and a half to get back to me and tell me I was accepted. I think people need to take what others on here say with a grain of salt.
Unless they changed up how they reach people. Wait times can very. Ive done a few Big 4 superdays, and my understanding is they put you into 3 categories: They have people they want on the spot (they usually hear back really soon, i heard back the day of my interview, like 2 hrs after the interview ended), they have people they don't want (I don't know when the response time is for them), and lastly, they have a group of kids who they wait until they do more interviews and then they compare you to other candidates and then choose.
I did an interview with EY, where I interviewed I did a superday in early October and did not hear back until late November. In that time frame, I had done my campus and superday with PwC and had my offer expire, before i heard back from EY. Obviously, this just could be more reflective on HR and recruiting being bombed with work , more so than their process, but definitely follow what MistaBook said, and email and follow up. I;ve heard of people who were mreo than qualified and they wanted to extend offers to, but that they had already met the quota for the starting class and couldnt give him an offer. that would be terrible.

But why would they interview people in the first place if they already met the quota?

My experience with superdays is that you should hear either the same day or the next if you get the offer.
Offers went out immediately same day. If you didn't hear back you didn't get an offer.
I can confirm the above comment from Asatar...Definitely hear back within a week, but usually one to two days.
It has been three business days but they didn't wrap up background interviews until Tuesday. Would this mean I still have a shot or no?
Which office and what group was it for...?

I heard back before I even got on the plane. Ny office
Yeah heard back within 5 days. Pretty sure it varies between offices. Thanks for the replies.
Did you get it?
Hearing back within a day or two after Superday apply to banks as well, right?

Does Big 4 audit still pay 55k (heard that from previous years) not sure if they raised the ante
I am not sure. I went with advisory.
My roommate had his interview Friday and just got offered
Audit KPMG starts at around $51K as sophmore, returning offer as a junior $57K

PwC superday wait time (Originally Posted: 10/27/2011)
Hey guys-
How long should I wait to hear back from PwC after a superday?
Thanks!!!
Shouldn't be more than a couple of days. I'd follow up after two weekdays at the latest.
Alright thanks! Also- is this the same time frame for someone who gets rejected?

Completely region and firm specific.
