Princeton ORFE vs Oxford Mathematics/Comp Sci

Hey guys, I'm posting this for a friend, and he is right now having trouble decide between doing the ORFE major at Princeton, or going to UK to do mathematics and comp sci. He told me that if he goes to oxford, he will do the four year option at Oxford, so he'll end up with a master's rather than a bachelor's. However, he's not sure whether or not he should go to oxford because his career goal is to become a quant in the US, and he doesn't want going to Britain to mess with his chances.

Congrats! I interviewed at Cambridge for math but did not get in. I ended chosing a us school. I highly recommend you should take P for the following reasons:

1.US schools give you a more rounded college experience.

2.It is hard to work in the US out of undergrad if you studied in Ox. This is true even for US citizens. (at least from what I've heard)

3.Oxford teaches only 24 weeks out of 52. Most of the learning is done by yourself (I have a friend at Ox). This may be a good thing or a bad thing. You may have more time for internships and stuff.

4.Grad school in Britain is a joke. What do you expect in one year.? All capable students go to the US for grad schools. Only secondary students end up in Brit (I may be biased).

5.Bad food and weather. The girls are cute. Transport is bad.

Only if you want a different college experience/ travel EU/ pay lower tuition/ save 1 yr should you take Ox.

Otherwise, take Princeton!!!

I know that diamonds mean money for this art, but that's not the shape of my heart.

GIRLS ARE CUTE IN TE UK?

Better than what I expected. I actually prefer Scottish girls better. Brunettes are gonna be the death for me

Really? I've had experience with both the UK and the US - I feel in college the hotter girls will definitely be in the US.
