Pros and Cons of Two Summer Internships at Same Firm
As the title suggests I'm curious what all of you think about the pros and cons of having a summer internship at the same place for two years in a row (sophomore and junior), More specifically, say that the two internships are at a hedge fund, same position both years, and that I would like to recruit for a different finance position full-time in the fall, like PE or IB. How would I structure my argument for those firms about why I liked a firm enough to intern at it for two years and yet now want to recruit for a completely different position.
While it will show that you worked hard enough to get a return offer for another internship, it will also raise a big question: why did they not hire you fulltime?
@"Sil" Say that I did receive a full-time offer from the fund, but just didn't want to accept it.
Bump. Any other opinions?
