What state do you live in? If you live in Michigan, Texas, Virginia, California, or North Carolina and you can get into your state schools business school that would be a great option.

BYU cheapest school and amazing for IB

Not public but affordable

That’s very true, but I personally would not recommend unless you’re a Mormon, or at least Christian, or at the very least White. Still, strong recruitment and also affordable.

Would you get financial aid? My target ivy was effectively 20k less than out of state public’s like UVA/Mich. Don’t underestimate that. There are also schools like wake forest that give full rides to a select few from merit scholarships, which could be worth looking into. Finally, UF is an ok option with its masters in finance program (you take the gmat as a sophomore and finish masters in 4 years); IB placement is mainly feeding into RBC, wells, Raymond James, suntrust. Also if you’re looking into safety schools, just know that top public’s like UNC and UVA can sometimes be harder to get into as an out of state kid because they have to take a certain amount of in state students.

tbh if you're from illinois, UIUC isn't a bad choice at all. know some people at JPM, some boutiques who started at u of i. not the easiest, but doable.
