You walk up to her, tell her you're new in town and trying to meet some new people, and offer to buy her a drink.

Buy drink, make small talk, tell jokes, seal the deal.

h4zin:
um, why is there no "tell her you work in the investment banking division of a BB" in that response. unless thats what u mean by "seal the deal"

Mostly because that doesn't really work, and no amount of posturing can save you if you don't have basic social skills (which it seems are rare around this forum).

cackmenimble:
look at girl, say hi, how are you.

she either responds or she is rude or she shoes attitude.

Make nice, complimentary remark if she's nice, else be rude back...say you're a badass mo'fo banker who's coming up in the world.

Last time I saw a guy do that, the chick replied, "I work in hedge fund X (a major one in London), who the hell do you think you are."

You got three options

1)Go up and talk to her like a sap 2)Do some rubbish these guys are telling you 3)Pinch her ass, either she will slap you, throw a drink at you and call the cops.

Or

the result will be you and her getting it on.

you spelled happiness wrong.

Ever heard of a famous movie starring Will Smith that is about kicking ass in an unpaid internship, which then opened up the door to becoming a broker, and now the dude is worth millions? Yea, I think he was referencing that.
