"FinTech" was/is a hot buzzword in the tech world. It's a wide range that covers consumer fintech in credit cards to high frequency trading. Are you hearing this a lot at your clients and are they just talking or are they actively planning and implementing (or already implemented)?
I have another question that less "mainstream" so maybe I can PM you about it.
Clients are very focused on obtaining technology that allows them to streamline processes, cut costs and minimize the time between idea generation to execution in the market. With that being said, we are also seeing more and more clients looking at what opportunities there are with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Many active planning & implementation initiatives taking place on all fronts.
What led you to choose a specialized firm rather than a generalist firm, and fintech in particular?
I wanted to be at a boutique firm with the ability to make an impact and add value from Day 1. I also found an industry that I was really interested in and realized the opportunity to be at the forefront of significant change within Financial Services.
