Quick question: Meeting with MD
Guys,
Am meeting with an MD at his office...obviously will be wearing business attire, but should I bring a padfolio? It's not an interview by any means, more like an informational, but there is a chance he may introduce me to some people in the office and I don't want to look like a tool bringing a resume & padfolio to a meet and greet. I am also getting coffee with an associate from a different bank afterwards and am self conscious about the same thing..
Thoughts?
Treat it as an interview. I actually had setup a meeting with an MD at his office and I ended up getting interviewed by one of his VPs and an Analyst.
You should bring a padfolio or just a small pad, pen and neatly folded resumes in your pocket. It will show that you are prepared and interested.
Why would you fold up the resumes and put them in your pocket? Terrible decision, you don't want to hand an MD a wrinkled resume. Tuck a few copies in the back of the padfolio so you can hand one to him/her if they ask for it.

hahaha.... don't fold your resumes. put them on your padfolio.
I'm curious how on earth do you guys get these interviews with MDs?
I literally laughed out loud
Def bring a padfolio with neat unfolded resumes. I made that mistake.
