Real estate in a Big 4 for a future career

Hi all,

I'm gonna soon start a gap year internship in Real Estate in a Big 4 in Europe and I wanted to know a few things. According to the offer, it will be M&A, strategy consulting, fundraising and debt advisory, so I feel like, as a first internship, it's really good as I'm gonna see plenty of things that I could be interested in.

How is it seen by recruiters from PE/IB compared to a TS internship in a big 4 for example ? That's where I'd like to go next a priori. Will I have my chances in these fields ? Will it be a career booster to have this as a first experience ? If you've had a similar experience, how would you compare it to classic M&A, TS etc. ?

Thanks,

Troy

What does this have to do with real estate?

You'd probably get a better response if it was posted in a relevant forum.
