Has anyone successfully broken into solid MM shops ($550m-$3b in AUM) from boutique banks without name recognition but where you do have decent deal experience? I'm guessing it's on the analysts to reach out to headhunters (CPI, Glocap, Amity, Search One) on their own and impress them?
