REPE Fund Historical Performance
I was doing some research on a REPE fund and found this link online. It has the historical performance for some big names like Oaktree, Kayne Anderson, Square Mile, etc. Also gives an overview of their strategies, their organization structure, etc. Very interesting stuff for anyone looking to move to a fund

This is great. This one was a pretty good read too:

Yeah im surprised these data points are public. You can more or less calculate the promotes at these firms
Also interesting how “preftige” is not 100% correlated with returns. Oaktree has had some mediocre years
what's so interesting about it? pretty much just a data dump of what you can find on Preqin
Ah I don’t have access to Preqin - actually don’t know what that is. I had no idea you could look up fund performance that easily.
I’m guessing interns / students won’t have access to Preqin either so maybe they will appreciate
My school had access to [Preqin Pro] along with other similar services such as [Burgiss Private i] and [PitchBook Data], though Preqin is the golden standard in the instititional investor/LP space. They're pretty much the Bloomberg for private funds and fund manager information. For venture capital funds and venture fund-of-funds, another useful source was [CB Insights].
