Research Analyst
I am a sophomore and currently studying Finance.
Last summer I did an internship at a bank in Hong Kong. It was an eye-opening experience to the banking industry. Even though my parents have been in the banking industry for many years, I didn’t find my own interest until I did an internship. I had the honor to work with the marketing department in the private bank.
During my internship, I was assigned to different tasks: For example, I was able to do some fundamental equity and fixed income analysis. In addition, I had the opportunity to come up with a new template for the new IC’s bond list for clients. I was assigned to connect Excel and Bloomberg with bond’s ISIN numbers. Lastly, I helped to reorganize the structure products packet for clients in order to facilitate clients’ understanding of different structure products.
After this precious experience, I found my passion in the wealth management industry and as a research analyst.
Is this for real?
If you read it in a monotone robot voice it's actually pretty good
Assuming you're not being a troll, what is the purpose of this post?
If you want some form of career advice / networking /etc., you are going about it in a completely wrong way. Telling your life story (which sounds like boilerplate, no offense) to a group of uninterested, jaded people does not generally help your cause. Lastly, anonymity on the internet is generally a good thing. I wouldn't recommend advertising your real name on any public forum. Just my 2 cents.
