Research Exit Opportunities

I'm an As1 in a SS role working at a BB in the HY Fixed-Income Group. Current role focuses on issuer and security recommendations for HY bonds and loans, due diligence for new issues, and collaborating with S&T.

Took the role as I wanted to build skills in HY and general Fixed-Income products as I have a passion for investing in stocks, but didn't really know much about credit investing.

Currently looking for advice on exit opportunities if my interests are in the HF space. Also, interested to see if making a transition into PE would be possible. Would love to hear anyone's opinion or advice on their experience moving out of SS Research, specifically HY, into another role. Thanks
