Resume:

Please critique and suggest how I can make it better. Thanks :)
Goal is investment banking analyst. May be using it to apply for equity research, corp finance, etc. as well to get some experience since my experiences aren't too directly relevant to financial industry at moment

overall i suggest, perusing the above link and in general tailoring each job application (read: resume) to each job you apply to. for example, ibankers (in my opinion) couldnt care less about your actuarial exams. and you blatently violated the one page rule. make margins smaller, replace soft verbs like "multi tasked" ,"helped" and ambigious ones "worked" with action verbs: analyzed.

 Good interpersonal skills and enthusiasm  Eager to learn new skills and refine acquired skills  Very comfortable with learning computer skills should be thrown out

include gpa

the entire entreprenuership section is extremely vague, ie has no name, show us why writing a flash game is considered an entrepreneurial venture and give us hard numbers like rev or unique user count

take Excel off completely, its assumed that you know how to use word/excel/ppoint

rename JOB EXPERIENCE: professional experience

^^ all that is just for starters, you have a very long way to go

I know I lack experience in finance but I'm still trying to get in.

Any advice? :)

make all that asian/indian IT support guy work experience look like it's applicable to banking. like change the wording in a way that relates your responsibilities to what an IB analyst does.

also, what the hell is that funky canadian grading bullshit? 73% GPA? how does it translate over to the good old american 4.0 system? If you are applying to jobs in USA, you are going to want to convert that into x.xx/4.00.

also, come up with better personal stuff than salsa/waltz beginner.
