Resume Qt's

Hello everyone,

I am currently working in the Finance department of a company. When writing the details of this specific job on my resume, I understand that I am supposed to write my bullets in the present tense. My question is, if I did something only once(i.e. creating an internal database, etc.) should this be written in the past tense although I am currently still working in the company?

Also, when writing the name of a company on your resume, Should I describe the type of company it is? i.e X partners--Merchant Bank; Or should I leave it out?

Thanks in advance
