Retaking the SAT and/or Double Transferring?
So here is my situation,
I currently go to a total non-target. I sort of bought into this notion that the college you go to doesn’t matter and your grades were the most important thing. I only accepted it because they offered me a full ride. I realized that this was the wrong decision towards the end of this past semester and decided to transfer around New Years. I have a 4.0 this semester and throughout the 60 credits from dual enrollment in high school. But my sat score is just a 1250 and I took it freshman year of high school just to see and didn’t take it again because it was at the time. I was planning on taking it this weekend on the March setting, but unfortunately my test was canceled the night before because of the corona virus. I don’t have a chance to take it again this transfer application cycle, so my most likely option is the top public school in my state which is ranked 55-70 (U.S. News). This school is also a non target although much more well known then my current school. It also has the necessary coursework that is accepted, if I did chose to transfer again. My goal is to break into MBB or tier 2 consulting from undergrad or maybe HF.
So my question is, should I retake the SAT anyway for consulting recruiting and just stay at the state school? Or, retake it and try to transfer again? Or not retake it and just study for GMAT?
I was scoring like 1500+ on the practice test but the next test are until this summer and possibly not until this fall. So I would need to continue studying for like the next 4-6+ months.
