Salary for junior analyst at MM L/S

What would be the typical salary and all in comp for someone at the junior level doing L/S at a MM like citadel or P72 or MLP? Someone with 1-2 years banking experience or something similar? Also what are hours like at the associate level at these firms?

Have data points for Citadel.
All the spectrum from 150K to 200K.

Seems too high for base / fixed. 110-130 fixed is more realistic for someone with 1-2 years of experience. Bonus obviously can be well in excess of 100% depending on pod performance

MMPM:
Salary 150k ish. Bonus i would think 150-300k depending on his own and the team's performance. Bonus would grow over time as he becomes more seasoned and hopefully bigger contributor.

This is correct. At Citadel associate 150k, Sr associate 175k base irrespective of location. Bonus somewhere between "fuck you, you're fired" to infinity +/- a few bucks.

Same goes for surveyor. It's the same company.

As far as I know, you would get zero bonus under that scenario at most MMs. Don't know of any that would allow the PM to "advance" $ to the analyst. And even if they did, frankly, doubt many PMs would be willing to take that risk.
