Sherman & Company IB in Charlotte, NC

I have a phone interview scheduled for a summer analyst IB position with Sherman & Company Monday morning, but can't seem to find much information on them. Apparently they were formerly LMC Capital, and a search for Sherman & Company in Google Finance News doesn't yield much information - however, I assume it is basically the same gig as LMC. They are a boutique shop focused on the insurance industry.

Can anyone familiar with S&C give me some information, tips, or what their SA program is like? What should I expect for the phone interview? What is the reputation of the firm?

Thanks in advance for any help.

they are pretty small so the most info you will get would be from their website (past deals and team bios) and asking good questions during the interviews.

They are your typical boutique but their focus on insurance. They are niche and are good at what they do. You will have an easier time interviewing for FT positions within FIG groups at more well known banks, but it will not be as easy for other groups. As long as you had solid deals/responsibilities to talk about you will have an easier time choosing your groups. They are a small time shop with little to no reputation outside out the SE.

It will be a standard IB interview so expect technical questions, why IB, why FIG IB, but most importantly know your story. You have a great shot with your credentials.
